Burley Belt Coffee Table
Tobacco farms used to be the lifeblood of North Carolina. Today, old tobacco barns linger as reminder of our rich past. You can own a piece of the history with our Burley Belt Coffee Table, named for the tobacco region where we found this 125 year old barn, nestled near a small town that rests close to the Appalachian Mountains. Naturally weathered barnsiding creates a unique color story – gray wood that’s been sun-kissed for centuries blends into native brown hues that weren’t exposed to the sun. The result is a beautiful patina that can’t be replicated in our modern world today.
Original saw marks and nail holes add even more distinction, rendering this table a true one-of-a-kind wonder. That’s why we added understated but sturdy steel legs – we don’t want anything distracting from the beauty of heritage and history.

Character comes with time and experience. That's why we specialize in reclaimed wood. With 2nd Story Wood Co., these beautifully aged and imperfect fragments of wood are beginning their 2nd story. Rather than discard these treasured pieces, we reclaim their history and handcraft each order, which takes some time. We take about 3 to 4 weeks to create each made-to-order piece. Your purchased item is completely distant. This is what gives our products a unique and storied quality.
